This position requires high attention to detail and to safety. Applicants must be comfortable working with saws, heat, chemicals, sample prep equipment, and with many analytical instruments. On the job training will be provided but having prior experience and/or a lab course is key! This role will support company activities such as supplier qualifications, analysis of components from the field, and material characterization on a variety of materials and coatings. Additional work may be assigned to support general work processes, web page editing, specification changes, and testing of new tools.
